Economic prosperity, well-planned growth, fair housing, environmental health, and climate change: what
are our common goals? If you call Northern Virginia, Maryland or DC home, you live in a region of relative
opportunity and wealth, how will we grow from here? A collaborative approach to regional
planning is a
critical step toward
improving the quality of life for Washington area residents long in to the future.   What
common principles can we agree on? What mechanisms exist that will ensure that future development
reaches our goals? What should we measure? These questions and more will be discussed during our
monthly Regional Collaboration teleconference through November.

Please feel free to send your comments and questions in advance to Mariah@washingtonregionalequity.
net and we will try to put them on the agenda.
We look forward to your participation!
Please RSVP to Mariah@washingtonregionalequity.net.
