April 24: Two meetings occurred.

2p: The Coordinating Council (CC) met to discuss the network's progress since the March 6 general body
meeting.  Plans for the next general body meeting, on June 6, were briefly discussed. Also, a membership
report was submitted to the Council and work of the "displacement" work group was reviewed. Next Meeting:
May 10, 2p.

10a: The "Shared Prosperity/Displacement" Work Group met to discuss the DRAFT campaign proposal
"Shared Prosperity: A Regional Commitment." Members made suggestions on how to revise the DRAFT to
better address  displacement concerns throughout the region. A revised DRAFT will be presented at the next
meeting on May 8, 10a.

ACTION ITEM: Contact Co-Chairs, Cheryl Cort (Coalition for Smarter Growth) and Dominic Moulden (ONE
DC), by email, with input on specific language in the "Shared Prosperity" proposal by Monday, April 30.

April 10: The "displacement" work group began discussing how to move forward with a "displacement"
campaign and selected working group chairs. Next meeting, April 24, 10a.

May 3:  Regional Collaboration Project Meeting: Kathy Whelpley (Community Foundation) and others met to
discuss next steps and collaboration on a POST EGW project. Kathy's DRAFT proposal, "AFTER EGW--Ideas
for Potential Next Steps," (below) was discussed in detail. Stay tuned for a meeting summary and details on

June 19, 1-4p: Members, thank you for a successful 2nd General Body Meeting!

At this meeting members had the opportunity to "meet and greet," sign up to participate in regional work
groups, and participated in a FREE ActionMedia training workshop on strategic issue re-framing and effective
communication for social advocates.

Prosperity Proposal. Urban Land Institute expert Peter Tatian weighed in on this conversation and provided
his draft of potential key indicators and answered questions from members. Cheryl will work with Peter to
revise the proposal and indicators, and will present the proposal to members at the June 6 general body
meeting. Stay tuned for a meeting summary. Next meeting: TBD.
